Model Biography.
Mwesigwa Paul, but people call him Paul Bradley which started as a nickname in his High school days but later stuck. Bradley is a 22 years old, coming from a family of 5 sisters and 1 brother making him the second last born. He prides from the tribe known as Gisu where he grew up in a small village called Mutufu, Budadiri in Mbale, Kampala, Uganda.
Modeling journey
Growing up, he always had the love for fashion in general love for Art and Design and judging from his family background of fashion lovers, my mother deals in Bridal outfits this drew him into the fashion world and he developed the love of becoming a Fashion designer.
it was not till his S6 vacation Dec2011/2012 the period when he was desperately looking for a vacation job to earn some bucks to finance his University, did he come across this job advert from Arapapa (Fashion Icon/Modeling Agency In Uganda) that they were looking for a fashion designer, so he decided to go try it out, as much as his designs were good, they did not pick him for they were looking for someone with a university degree. As much as he was disappointed, this did not deter him from pursuing his dream so he moved on to the next Fashion house and the next on one occasion as he walked out, one of the Attendant girls called him back and told him that there was a model casting happening the next day and with his height and looks he should try and see what happens. At first he was puzzled, he had never thought of becoming a male model, in that he was even green.
In his words, “ I remember having a sleepless night trying to figure out how to walk like a male model, pose like a male model, to the point that I woke up with bugs in my eyes.” On the day of the he was disappointed again for he was not picked, this is where he knew that there was more to it than just auditioning and trying out and so he joined a local modeling training school to up his game.
In May 2012, he was called up by a friend who told him about a model casting by Flash Models where they were looking for models to walk the fashion show a Fashion Reunion party and he had to do a voluntary runway showcasing for Fashion collectors; Ryan 6 and Prosper. It was his first runway show and a great experience. It was also on that show that he was approached by Kat models Management scout Brenda A James who later introduced me to the Kat Models Managing Director Enoch Naam and he was later signed to KAT MODELS MANAGEMENT in November 2012 which is currently my Mother Agency.
PROFILE;
JUNE 2012- Walked at the Flash Models reunion party Fashion show and Opened the show for Prosper 4 T-shirts and Ryan 6.
Nov 2012- Signed with Kat Models Management.
Dec 2012- Walked and Opened the Abryans Collection Fashion show at the Buzz Teenies Awards 2012 held at Garden City rooftop, Kampala.
In 2013, he had to give modeling a break so he could focus on school for sometime at the University. So 2013 wasn’t a major year for him.
Nov 15th 2014- Made my Modeling career come back and Official public Debut at the Kampala Fashion Week 2014 at the Kololo Independence Grounds.
-Walked for Designers; Eguana Kampala and Martha Jabo.
He is now focusing on his modeling career and having my eyes on the prize!
